With increasing demand on Primary Care and no expansion of GP number's you may be able to get quicker and more appropriate help from an allied health care practitioner (such as a physiotherapist or optometrist) in Primary Care. By choosing to see an appropriate allied health care professional you will be helping out the NHS, as this should free up more GP appointments to deal with problems only a GP can deal with.
