*Please note during the COVID pandemic following national guidance all initial GP contacts will be done remotely via telephone or video consultation. If it is deemed necessary to have a face to face consultation you will still be offered this. The practice encourages the use of E-consult. Please see the questions as akin to the first half of your consultation; thus giving the doctors the most helpful information for them to decide the best onwards care for you.*

Appointments at both Stockbridge and Broughton Surgeries are bookable.

To make an appointment please telephone the surgery or use E-consult.

Stockbridge Surgery 01264 810524 and Broughton Surgery 01794 301210.

At Broughton, calls for appointments are only taken during the dedicated Surgery hours.

At Stockbridge, calls for appointments are taken from 08:30am - 6.30pm Monday to Friday.

We answer our phones between 08:00 - 08:30 for emergency calls only. If you require medical assistance outside 8am and after 6.30 pm Monday to Friday and on a weekend or Bank Holiday then please call the out-of-hours service on 111. Please note that the surgery telephone is not answered on Saturday mornings.

We aim to offer 10-minute appointments at both locations however at busy times they may have to be shortened. If you need more time please tell the Receptionist when booking for either a Doctor's or Nurse's appointment. For some tips on how to get the most from your appointment please click on the following link, Making the most of your appointment.

You may consult any of the Doctors or Nurses at the Surgery as you are registered with the Practice and not an individual Doctor. You will be allocated a nominal Partner on registration but this is for administrative purposes only.

Training Practice

Please Note: The Practice is a Training Practice and part of a student's medical training will require them to be present during consultations. If you are not willing for our students to be present could you please inform Reception.

On-line Appointment Access is available for both Stockbridge and Broughton Surgeries.

PLEASE NOTE: On-line Bookings can only be made for routine 10 minute consultations. On-line bookings are NOT available for NURSE APPOINTMENTS. For all other appointments that require a longer consultation time, such as Medicals (including HGV and Sports' Medicals), Post Natal Appointments, Travel Clinics etc you need to telephone either Stockbridge or Broughton Surgery to make an appointment.

Saturday Opening - Stockbridge Surgery

We are open on Saturday mornings as part of the Government Extended Hours Programme. The Stockbridge Surgery is open for pre-booked appointments and the collection of pre-ordered prescriptions. A telephone service is not available due to reduced staffing.

Urgent/Emergency calls for a Doctor at the weekend are still handled by the Out of Hours Service on 111

Practice Nurses

In a number of cases it might be worth considering an appointment with a Practice Nurse rather than a Doctor. Practice Nurses are qualified to deal with many ailments and you may be seen more quickly. For example for a blood pressure check.

Appointments are by appointment only.

Telephone Advice

Requests for telephone advice from the duty doctor can be made by contacting the reception team.

If you cannot attend an appointment for any reason please inform us as soon as possible in order for us to give the appointment to someone else.
